CBT

Saber qual é o empreendimento mais racional para cada necessidade geotécnica de uma cidade é sempre um desafio. Polêmicas sobre decisões nesse sentido são muitas vezes baseadas na falta de conhecimento. Com o objetivo de auxiliar nesta questão, a ITA (International Tunneling Association) publicou, na 42° edição do ITA@News, um guia sobre túneis imersos, produzido pelo ITA Working Group 11 for Immersed and Floating Tunnels. Questões como a definição correta de túnel imerso e locais apropriados para a construção deste tipo de travessia são analisados no Guia, que tem como princípio responder à questão “o que é preciso saber e documentar para planejar, construir e operar um túnel imerso”. O intuito da entidade na publicação é ampliar a compreensão do tema, que está em pauta no Brasil com o caso da travessia Santos-Guarujá. Leia a íntegra.
